Lovely antique French .800 (nearly sterling) silver 2" napkin ring, 80% pure silver with delightful machined or engraved decoration including frieze style band, foliate accented medallion with interlaced "SC" or "ST" monogram! This one bears the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, the tiny number "2" within that mark means it's 2nd quality for .800 or better silver content (at least 80% pure so just under the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). The silversmith mark is likely for Victor Demare, Paris circa 1892.
