Fabulous antique Victorian to early Edwardian era 20pc solid carved Cameroon ebony wood dressing & vanity set including candlesticks, jars, two trays and more! Most pieces marked simply "Real Ebony" on the bottoms or sides, quite rare in such a comprehensive set and the jet black finish is very Victorian but would go great in an mid-century modern decor. The set includes what appears to be a desk tray with slotted rear, two small and two large candlesticks (with one medium sized one), vanity mirror, two brushes, shoe horn, three jars with screw-on lids, one thin tube jar, a hair receiver with hole in lid, two glove stretchers, one button hook and a ring tree. Wow. A few flaws but in overall fabulous shape. Donât miss this set.
Very good condition. Some wear to the ebony finish on the handles of the mirror and smaller brush, a few small chips, one jar lid with a repaired split in the lid and one with a chip on the side. See pictures for all measurements.
