I've always loved these English spool caddies, stands. This one is particularly pretty with its crisp lathe-turned finials and lovely finish. It has 6 long pins topped in wooden finial, each mounts and holds a few spools of thread. You can see the 1 tall silk wooden spool (included), and how it works. The center top of the swivel-turning stand is a pin cushion. A lovely sewing or seamstress accent. It is raised on bun feet, and remains in lovely condition - possibly vintage more than antique. Very good to excellent condition, no breaks or flaws other than that the pin cushion up top does need a fabric replacement. The old one must have tattered badly and has been lost to time. A simple little project, do it in your favorite color. The finials are all intact and in place, no chips or cracks. The wooden silk thread spool shown is included as shown.
