In a normal time, I'd drive to the flower market for a perfect bouquet for at least one photo of this wonderful old French basket, but times still are shy or normal. Imagine a sweet little French bouquet in this one, table center or bedside table - it's a beauty. I think turn of century, 1900, to as late and 1920.
Very good to excellent condition throughout. Bright golden ormolu framework in fine order and the basket insert is excellent, no loss or damage to the deep wheel-cut pattern. This one is far better in person, I fully admit our lighting is not adequate for showing glass at its best. Measurements are noted on the photos.
