The smooth modeling, controlled highlights, and warm palette are consistent with traditional academic still-life painting around the turn of the 20th century. The signature appears to read “ZAM” with the date 1917, but we haven't been able to confidently identify the artist from those initials alone. A beautiful, colorful work and perfect for the upcoming season!

Very good condition. Very slight separations visible at the corner joints of the frame and a few small wear or chips to the gilt finish. No damage to the canvas or stretcher. See images for all measurements.

https://antiques-uncommon-treasure.com/zh-cn/products/fine-antique-1917-artist-signed-24-5-oil-painting-on-canvas-vase-fruit-still-life-gilt-frame
