With 5 souvenir views of iconic Paris architecture, this would have been someone's Grand Tour souvenir. Finest Baccarat bottle and stopper shrouded in ornate brass collar and hinged cap. The large bottle, 2 5/8" square would have initially had a fitted base with raised legs, which has been lost to time. The 4 scenes on sides include Notre Dame Cathedral, The Madeleine, The Concord and in distance the Arch de Triumph (finished in 1836) and last, the Triumphal Arch nearer the Louvre. Up top, there is a small painting of the Tuileries Palace, and has a hairline across it. Full measurements noted on the photos.
Very good condition for age and type. There are 2 flaws to note, mentioned above, including the missing base and the hairline tight crack in the mounted glass panel in lid. Nothing else - no chips nor cracks in the entire bottle or neck, stopper, and no bends to cap or shroud. The larger paintings on sides are 1 1/4" in diameter and the cap is barely shy of 1" in diameter. All hand painted artwork.
