A beautiful and delicate 19th century Dresden porcelain handled dessert set, service for 8 plus 1 extra knife. Gilt silver (.800/1000 silver with 18k gold layering - vermeil). The handles are hollow-form heavy porcelain are each hand painted and then decorated with raised gold and colored jewel dots with varying base colors, as shown. I've used the spoon for tea and coffee, and the knife and fork as dessert service pieces as well as set out for hors d'oeuvres, and they always are conversation pieces. NOTE: you are buying 25 piece set of dessert flatware - dishes shown are not included and are only props for our photos.
Very good to excellent condition for age and type, each has German mark impressed in the .800/1000 silver. All are tightly mounted, and there is not a single porcelain handle is chipped or cracked, no losses to report. I am leaving the silver polish to next owner, as I always think over-polishing gilt pieces runs risk of removing a little more gold. The knives are 5.5", forks are 5.25" and spoons are 5".
