Elegant antique French sterling silver 9pc gigot, lamb chop utensils or "Manches a Cotelettes" with ornate scrolled handle pattern & rare figural busts! The handles themselves all bear the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, the tiny number "1" in the upper right of each means they're in .950 silver (95% pure and above the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). The clamping ends are surely in silver plated metal which is typical in these. The silversmith marks are for Jean Francois Veyrat, Paris circa 1832-1840. Yes, they don't all match. There are actually six and three of each but similar enough in size and with the same silversmith marks so we grouped them. Gorgeous, don't miss them!
Very good condition. Some very light surface scuffing indicative of rare use and some age darkening/tarnish in the deeper recessed areas of the decoration but no notable dimples, dents, damage or repairs. See pictures for measurements.
