Daniell, London, with decorators historically connected to the Sevres Manufactory decorators who expatriated to England in the French Revolutionary era, has long been one of my favorite makers. These retain the look of the Sevres plates, and are entirely hand decorated. The 4 are not perfect, however, which reduces their value, as noted. In cabinet display, you'll probably never notice the imperfections. The elegantly applied raised gold enamel work is brilliant in light (hard to show in photos without causing a glare on the plates). Each plate has the maker mark.
Good to very good condition for age and type, but not pristine. The plates date c. 1830-50s and the maker is a highly notable maker. CIRCA 1830, PRINTED PUCE RETAILER'S MARKS '18 WIGMORE STREET AND 129 NEW BOND ST. DANIELL. LONDON, each plate is entirely hand painted. Central flowers are different and each of the border bouquets are different from all others, little works of art. The Sevres pink borders are in good condition but you will see light abrasions on each plate. Same with the floral centers, as if someone may have used them at table, utensil mark here or there. As noted, no chips or hairlines, no cracks, but would benefit from restorer's touch-ups. Sold as they are.
