Antique hand carved French parlor set with custom upholstery, heavy old forest growth oak with caned back and sides, claw & ball cabriole feet and Country French styling from 1890-1910. The set includes loveseat and chair. The 2 pieces are hole-caned, which is intricate and a remarkable art. We do have a 2nd chair available but it will need some cane restoration. Each are in very good condition. Thick full-stuffed down and feather cushions make these comfortable as can be. Three matching printed backrest pillows are included. The 3 smaller needlepoint pillows shown in a photo or two (with birds) are not included. Upholstery is professionally done with piping and in excellent vintage tapestry fabric that shows beautifully. Cushions are separate and simple to 'fluff' up into full 6-7" depth. Oak. A single flaw - one straw in one arm section of the chair has a small spot broken away (see detail photos). Backrest pillows are fringed, also down and feather fill. All can be reversed. One side of loveseat cushion seems lightly faded.
