A fabulous and gracefully tall pair of antique French art nouveau candlesticks, heavy solid cast brass/bronze. Tri-lobe base with slender sensually curved braces that end in a hoof, rise to support the bronze sculpture above middle, which seems to me to be bat motif figural, face and wings - 3 per candlestick. The verdigris green patina is beautiful and is repeated in the cushion just below the candleholders. A natural bobeche, imagine them on your dining table or mantel. Gorgeous! Very good to excellent condition for age and type. Obvious age to them, I see no foundry mark - rather expected to see Barbedieinne, as the quality is certainly evident. Fine detail.
