A matching pair of slightly larger than typical scent bottles which would have come in a fitted case perhaps of shagreen or a Vernis Martin painted case. They have long since been separated from the old original etui/case, but it held them long enough to bring them forward without a nick or chip. Mouth blown, faceted flasks have screw-mounts at neck and the 2 original 18k gold original caps still mount the threading well. Full measurements noted on the photos, but they're each 3 5/8" long.
Very good to excellent condition for age and type, no serious chips and no hairlines of cracks, beautifully faceted. Very slight roughness at rims, and you can see the old original 18k gold caps are a bit dinged/dented. I didn't do anything to smooth those out and will leave it to the next owner. Very old French gold mark punch mark visible on top of each of the caps, guarantee of 18k solid gold.
