Beautiful antique Austrian hand painted 8" candlestick pair, pale blue with gold accenting & charming figures in garden or pastoral settings! Six colorful scenes if I'm not mistaken, each featuring two subjects and set in lush garden or farming surroundings. Both in wonderful condition and guaranteed to please. The bases of each with several markings, stamped "Vienna Austria" and Imperial Crown China Austria (both with crowns), impressed numbers & "TK" marks and "hand painted" in gold script. Not the famous blue underglaze beehive mark of the Imperial Vienna Porcelain Manufactory, these markings were used by independent Austrian factories operating in and around Vienna in the late 19th–early 20th century. A beautiful pair, don't miss them!
Very good to excellent condition. Some slight wear to the gold enamel decoration but I see no chips, cracks or repairs. See images for all measurements.
