The original key still with it, the Swiss watch or clock movement mechanism still running smoothly, and the case is to die for! A Sheffield sterling silver mark and date mark for 1890, and maker name, SWG&Co, all punched into the silver. Second hand included, enamel face/dial is fine and it's in a beautifully beveled and raised face placement within the mount, an easel-backed wooden case. I've shown it from all angles of view. Again, it is working just fine and exceptionally nice - my favorite from my old collections over decades of antique buying. A travel or desk clock, the key winds and sets, and there is an adjustment on back if slightly fast or slow. I do not know if it's a 1 day or an 8-day movement, sorry. I've never wound it fully and let it go as long as it would. Measurements noted on photos.
Very good to excellent condition for age and type. Hallmarks on the silver, as noted above, Key fits perfectly, is original. Silver could use a q-tip polish. There are a few tiny and very surface nibbles to shell face, about the 2 o'clock position on the oval face. Rich elegant cognac to chocolate coloration. Easel stand and beautiful old wood case is excellent.
