When you want to gather a grouping of Antique French tabletop frames, the old dore bronze crested easel frames are fabulous. Add to it the more unique tall oval, and the convex kiln-fired blue enamel inner mat, and you'll love the end result. This is one of mine. Everything about it is perfect except it needs a replacement glass cut. I've given it to Rick and he's very good at that. I'll annotate once he's gotten it done. But as of now, it is missing the cover glass. I've had a photo displayed in it, even so, since I prefer some photos not have to compete with a glare from a cover glass. You might also prefer that for something like a wedding photo or textured, or even an old family cabinet card photo, which this one was surely made to hold. Full measurements are noted on the photos. Easel stand and the old original oval brass back are all in perfect condition, as are the inner metal tabs which hold all thing in place.
Very good to excellent condition throughout. No damage to the kiln-fired and slightly convex oval mat, which is such a fine attribute. Superb finish to all.
