Such a brilliant thread or spool stand, this is mid-1800, Victorian English walnut and complete and undamaged. Full measurements are noted on the photos, the final is a 1 1/2" diameter pin cushion, and each of the lower shelves vary slightly in diameter, largest at base. Three substantial bun feet elevate and dignify this sewing accessory, and each of the tops to the thread spool posts echo the lathe-turned elegance of the stand's central post. This posts lift straight up to load, and anchor into small drilled holes (see images). Nothing missing. Full measurements noted on the photos.
Very good to excellent condition for age and type, the finish on the wood is still so beautiful (oops, I see a little dust from our warehouse - I'll be sure it's perfect for shipment to you). No breaks, no bends to metal posts nor loss of tips on lathe worked handles to those. Tall, elegant, and free of flaws. No chips, cracks or scratches of substance on the wood pieces. Even the pin cushion top is in fine order. Found in England.
