Fabulous antique French Louis XVIII to Louis Philippe era 12pc hallmarked silver 8" entremet or dessert knife set, vermeil with shimmering mother of pearl handles and gilt embossed & tooled leather fitted presentation box! The complete service for 12, all matching and complete, no hallmarks but the collar & caps are surely 22K gold plated sterling silver (vermeil), or at the very least would be 18K. Also, the cartouche you see inlaid there is 18K gold vermeil. Very good condition. One piece, marked with the blue tape, has a repaired break at the handle/blade mount. I see no damage or flaws to the solid mother of pearl handles and just a few age or tarnish marks to the vermeil blades. The box appears original and is in great shape, age considered, but has a leather strip repair to one hinge and it's missing one of the front clasps. See pictures for measurements.
