Fine antique Victorian to early Edwardian era Black Forest hand carved 5 3/4" match or toothpick holder, a wall hung piece in the form of a hunting satchel with game birds and wonderful visual & decorative appeal! I'm not seeing a striker but a small strip of sand paper could be added if one wished. Perhaps for toothpicks. A lovely piece, these old hunt motif works are always great. Group and display!
Very good condition. A few small nips/chips but in overall fine shape given its 100 or so years. It measures 5 3/4" tall, 2 7/8" wide and 1.5" at its deepest.
