Fine Antique Russian niello sterling silver snuff box, assayer's mark for Nikolay Dubrovin, and maker's mark "AG", and "84" is gold plated inside. Dates 1826, has scene of 2 soldiers on top, what looks like Roman ruins there and on back. I find comparable Russian niello from c.1826 with this assayer's mark priced above $7k on another site. Full measurements noted on the photos. Weight is 80 grams.
Very good to excellent condition for age and type, there are no dents and the gold interior remains in quite excellent condition, as well. I have not found the silversmith mark identity (AG) and as that if you know it, please email us. Very light loss perhaps to some niello, and entirely hand-crafted.
