Absolutely gorgeous & rare antique French Louis XVIII to Louis Philippe era 1819-1838 hallmarked sterling silver 10" or 24 oz. coffee or tea pot, teapot, with unique Aesthetic style including figural horse or stallion accented legs, rare horse or equine motif spout and acorn style finial!  What a beautiful piece!  Rare to find these older pots and this one has all of the bells & whistles :). Unique with the horse busts at the top of the cabriole style legs!  Somewhat of a mixture of styles, from Classical to Empire revival and most commonly referred to as "Aesthetic". The body and lid bear the 1819-1838 French Diana and Michelange or Michelangelo hallmarks, the tiny number "1" within those marks means it's in .950 silver (95% pure and higher than the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). The silversmith marks are for Pierre-Marie Devilleclair, Paris circa 1812-1824. A beautiful piece, don't miss it!

Very good condition. Possibly a tiny dimple or two but no large dents, no damage or repairs to note. Truly fabulous!  See pictures for weight and measurements.
