Fine antique French .800 (nearly sterling) silver 2" napkin ring, 80% pure silver with ornate foliate accented machined or engraved decoration and "J. Roger" personalized inscription! "Jolly Roger" perhaps :) ? This one bears the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, the tiny number "2" within that mark means it's 2nd quality for .800 silver content (at least 80% pure so just under the the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). The silversmith mark is smaller than normal and mostly illegible so I haven't been able to name the maker or narrow down the dates of manufacture.

Very good condition. This one weighs 26 grams and is in wonderful condition as you can see from the images. Some slight surface scuffing possible and you can see dark tarnish spots on the interior. See pictures for measurements.
