Fabulous antique French Napoleon III or Victorian era Empire or Louis XVI Revival style 9.5" wide picture frame, a double view card mat and displaying two delightful signed intaglio prints! The entire piece comes across to me as being in its original state so we're leaving it as is. A gilt or gold accented card mat divides the large, gorgeous frame and hold two old prints, both signed and ID'd I believe though I can't quite decipher them. In any event, a truly delightful display, ready to hang and enjoy!
Very good to excellent condition. Some age evident on the prints and some slight wear to the gilding in raised areas with the coppery bronze hue visible beneath. Tabs on the back and a rudimentary hang ring but you can see that it original had an easel stand that was likely removed for wall display. See images for all measurements.
