Beautiful hand carved wood panel, heavy and solid, carved for paneling or for a cabinet or door. Beautiful patina to the old forest growth (heavy!) wood, and a most thrilling Louis XVI theme to the musical instruments, bow top form. Actually, the carver has signed the panel at bottom right. A violin and a horn, old wooden clarinet is my guess, but I am far from expert in such things. I've shown it in my kitchen, and did a slightly crooked mock-up of what it could look like mounted on our existing cabinet door - we love the old carved wood detailing for a very personalized custom look. Very good to excellent, I am not finding any chips nor cracks or hairlines anywhere.
