Delightful & rare antique Victorian era solid oak cigar presenter or tobacco box in the form of a dog house with bronze patinated dog figure and engraved & reticulated silvered brass accenting!  Isn't this one fabulous!  Not actually a humidor but it would fall into that category surely.  The interior would originally have had a horizontal wood panel mounted near the upper area of the box, pierced with circular holes where cigars would be inserted vertically until desired.  That panel missing now but could surely be replaced if you wish.  The exterior as charming as can be, a doghouse in solid carved oak with an aged patina. Brass tacks and those lovely reticulated brass accents (with a silvered or nickel plated finish mostly remaining).  The dog figure also wonderful, only partially protruding from the front door, chained to the nearby post and with a coppery-bronze patina.  Fabulous!

Very good condition.  As noted, it would have had a wood panel inside that would hold the cigars in an upright position.  There is an old repaired break to the left side overhand of the roof, mostly visible from the inside.  Some signs of its age but, as you can see, beautifully preserved.  Original hinges & lock but missing the old skeleton key.  See pictures for all measurements.
