Purchased in Paris, these have been mine for decades, 6 fine old silver plate (not sterling) tongs for eating escargot in style. They polish beautifully and work perfectly. Spring-loaded, you squeeze the handle to open the tongs and release to tighten the clamp firmly around the snail shell, no muss, no fuss. Pretty at table, too. The set includes all 6 and they are each 6" long. Shown on one of my dinner plates, but the plate is not included.
Very good to excellent, they're thick silver plate and polish beautifully to add to your table settings and evening's fine dining. No places where silver is thinning. Each of the set of 6 work perfectly. Vintage - probably 40 or so years of age, kept and seldom used. Dinner plate is not included - you're buying the set of 6 implements, utensils.
