Fabulous antique Victorian era Black Forest hand carved 18 3/8" tall devotional piece, expertly carved foliage & vines with cross finial and displaying a large inner cross floating on a deep blue or navy velvet mat! One of two similar pieces that we're adding this week, the other also Black Forest, religious in nature and with a matching navy blue velvet mat so be sure to take a peek at it while you're with us. Thanks! This one large and beautifully preserved. Very attracting vines & foliage around the shaped and pierced or reticulated framing. A truly wonderful decorative and/or devotional piece, don't miss it!
Very good condition. Some wear to the velvet mat, all visible in the images. Original backing but the little wall-hanging ring is missing (I'll see if we can find one to replace it). Likely a small nip, chip or two but, as you can see, this one has been well taken care of. See images for all measurements.
