HUGE!  Not only beautiful, but this 22 3/8” x 17 1/4” meat platter is 3” deep with well, and goes from table to wall display with ease and exquisite aesthetic. An early nineteenth century blue and white transfer-printed Dimock "Vignette" platter, c. 1840. It is decorated with a scenic landscape with castle. Crown mark, Makers to the Queen. The meat/turkey platter is really quite massive, and remarkably, survives fully intact. Full measurements noted on the photos.

Very good to excellent condition for age and type, HUGE meat/turkey platter has no damage, not a chip nor hairline for it's nearly 200 years of age. Fabulous pattern to the transferware, and everyone's favorite: blue and white. Decor or table use - this one is superb, purchased from a remarkably large collection, and knowledgeable collector's estate in Ohio, USA, it is English Staffordshire early Victorian era.
