A beautiful Napoleon III (c.1850-70) cabaret, or liqueur service set, completely with tray, carafe (missing stopper) and 11 of the original 12 matching raised gold enameled green opaline cups. Rare to find, and thrilling to use for your aperitif with guests (the pre-dinner liqueur), or to include in your dessert service. I love these to serve shots of deliciously flavored French liqueur over ice cream, and it's just more fun to serve it as you see here, in style. Measurements are all noted on the photos.

Very good condition for age and type. If there are any with a tiny rim nip, I have yet to locate it. The glass handles on cup and carafe, all attached though one cup has a fine hairline showing. Still, 10 and a spare. The tray is lovely, too. Very little use if any, it might well have been stored away for 150 years or more. Tray is a very good sized 13" x 9.5" oval and is 1" in depth with a fluted pressed edging and tilted rim. There is one small chock/chip on that rim, visible in the photos that shows tray from the top (evaluate it at about the 2 o'clock position). Very slight discoloration, I'm not positive if they just need more than the cursory wash I gave them, or if it might be a little stain on some. Look them over. Priced for very light flaw of discoloration, tiny nip, small imperfection on rim of the tray.
