Fine antique French Napoleon III or Victorian era 8.5" tall picture frame, formed by intricate textured 'vines' in a pierced or reticulated style with small vines & foliage added to the framework! One of three similar frames that we're adding this week, each in this reticulated wire style and roughly of the same late 1800s age. This one bronze or brass but may have originally had a silvered or nickel plated finish (as some is visible here & there, mostly the back). Gorgeous, intricate wire vines with textured leaves. Very good condition. Possibly one leaf missing from the left side and also many one from the bottom. The glass and brass backing are replacements but the easel stand is original. It is missing one tab on the back. See images for all measurements.
