Very pretty Victorian era hinged bangle bracelet in .925 marked silver (sterling) with heavy gold layer (vermeil). Comes in original bracelet box, as shown, which is in very nice condition for age. I believe the guard chain might be a later addition but it, too, is marked .925 (sterling silver) and is gold plated. The bracelet easily fits my 6.25" wrist and would fit larger. I'll have to get interior measurement and add.
Very good condition for age and type. Shown here after polishing/cleaning the gold finish, I can't tell what karat it is but it does tarnish a little if left long enough. It shows so pretty in the bracelet box which is, itself, a fine antique.
