Sweet little locket, engraved 12k yellow gold with a tall 12k gold bale in the Etruscan manner so I'm uncertain they're original to one another but it's the way it came to me. There are 2 apertures once you open the locket. Each side has the original glass, but there is a hairline across the one in the cover. Worked beautifully and with a floral engraving on the hinged door.
Very good to excellent condition for age and type. Nicely preserved, I can see only 2 imperfections to point out: the one inner cover glass has a tight hairline and could still be used as it isn't noticeable in certain angles of light or view, plus the glass is quite thin on these and might be impossible to replace. A slight push to that hinged cover, which might be how the glass was broken.
