I have a zillion beautiful old French frames, and am finally beginning to work them up to sell. If you're wanting to put together a tabletop or piano or desk grouping of your favorite photos, these are splendid grouped in various sizes and shapes, all sold separately. Almost all are c.1850-1880, "Napoleon III" era, mid-Victorian in age. A few are earlier, none later.
This one is a petit "gem" frame, small and round. Heavy because it is dore bronze. An easel back and intact cover glass. Ready to add your small photo and display either hanging or with easel stand.
Very good to excellent condition, beautifully crafted. These old ones have fine detail and this one has no damage to report. Thick, solid cast, a metal backing and all of the back-tabs also intact.
