Exceptionally RARE vintage Tiffany & Co. Victorinox Swiss Army knife in sterling silver & 18k gold "SwissChamp" or "Champion" class in near pristine condition with all eighteen original folding tools & Tiffany pouch! The hallmarks are found around the curve of the rear side and read "Tiffany & Co. 925 + 750 STER + 18k" and the larger knife blade marked "Officier Suisse". Tiffany focused mostly on luxury mini knives, not full-size tools so this is a very rare large format Tiffany multi-tool based on a Swiss Champ style platform with many layers and tools. A customized Tiffany "SwissChamp" or “Champion" class knife, which is the largest type known with Tiffany silver scales and 18k gold shield. From what I've read, these large ones are not standard catalog pieces so most likely custom, limited, or special-order runs and much more rare than the small Classics. The tools appear to be large blade, small blade, file, saw, ruler, fish scaler, scissors, plyers, magnifying glass, cork screw, phillips & flathead screwdrivers, can opener, bottle opener, etc. including the small pen, tweezer and toothpick that are inserted into the sides/scales. What an elegant form and maker for such a utilitarian use, perhaps this will appeal to the "Glamping" campers or it would make a great graduation "off to college" gift with a note saying "So you all the tools you need to succeed" :). We're also adding a Tiffany & Co. sterling silver "Tiffany 1837 Makers"collection compass this week so wound't they just make the PERFECT pair!
Very good to excellent condition. No damage to note though I haven't tested the pen to see if the ink is still viable. The flannel pouch does show its age some, as is evident in the images. See pictures for all measurements.
