Late 1800s to earliest 1900s hand carved raised service tazza or calling card tray with a fern frond as the service top and a forest scene with bird below. Bird seems to be perhaps a cardinal. Full measurements noted on the photos.
Very good to excellent condition for age and type, there is hardly a leaf tip missing (I see one rising behind the bird) and tips of 2 leaves furthest right on the top, looking down at it from above (see images). The bird remains so nicely preserved.
