A stunning and large French diadem, crown or tiara with early marks, c.1798-1809, Napoleonic Empire sterling silver and 18k gold 'vermeil' is large and elegant with its large facet-cut natural amber beads. Silver punch marks are in place, shown in our images. Measurements also shown in photos.
Very good to excellent condition for age and type, there are 2 flaws to note: one of the stars surmounting the arched bar up top has been lost to the ages, and one very end amber bead has actually lost its post and is otherwise attached, but should have that silver post replaced if you plan to wear this one. Note: The tiara comb case shown does not go with this one, is just there as a photo prop. It doesn't fit this comb and won't close with it.
