I bought this one some time ago, intent upon removing the 3-sided borders (each 7" wide) and offering those as fragments for pillow projects, and then also cutting, or salvaging many larger pillow top fragments from the primary part of this fabulous Flemish verdure tapestry and making up lush-fringed and down-filled throw pillows. We sell this quality verdure pillows, finished, at $2500 range each. Some designer who still wants to sew will find enough to make up at least 6 pairs out of this one panel, and plenty of trim to work with for at least 2 pairs. Opulent home! The panel is without back, has hanging loops in metal and a ragged old trim. The white area above the medieval castle has been worked a good deal, but is still a little rough. But look at all that greenery! To die for!  Of course, you could back it in linen and use it as a large wall hanging, also, but the border is missing on the right side edge.  A definite fine project panel! I am not positive whether it is a Belgian, or Flemish verdure or possibly an early French Aubusson panel.

Very good condition for age and type, not quite excellent - although at 500 years of age, one could consider it far nicer than most fragments. From lambs to finished tapestry, yarns made and dies from nature (the blue is wode), many many artisans have worked to create this one. A nice fruit and flowers border (7" wide +) encircles all but the right side, which lets us know this is not a complete tapestry, just a left side of a much larger one.  Lots of photos so you can view it in great detail. A few open spots to mend, not really holes but openings in the weave. A light scent of wool, but no mildew nor smoke, nor dust smell.  Ready to find life again - and high profit for the right designer.
