A sweet 19th century Grand Tour Souvenir of a fortunate traveler, Victorian era, Napoleon III (c.1850-70s), in a charming kiln-fired enamel frame. Likely done quickly and 'on the spot' by artists set up to serve tourists - perhaps in the Montmartre of Paris, hoping to earn they keep so they could work on their "real" art. Unsigned, but charming in her lace color and deep v-neck gown.
Very good to excellent condition for age and type, no chips or damage to the old enamel, which is a cobalt blue. Petit, measurements are noted on the photos. These little works of art are, as you know, wonderful accents for interiors displaying your Bru or other antique dolls.
