Charming desktop item, perfect for stamp collectors, philatelists, this little desk stand has the sweetest pooch at rest outside a little doghouse. Swiss Black Forest carved wood, the doghouse is slanted inside, typical of a stamps box. The postal scale mounted next to it. Full measurements noted on the photos.
Very good to excellent condition throughout, I'm thinking early 1900s to as late as maybe 1940, so possibly vintage. The spring scale works fine, the hinged lid of the doghouse stamps box fits smoothly and hinge is strong. Dog has glass eyes, very cute face. There are no chips nor hairlines or cracks.
