Fabulous large antique French Napoleon III to Belle Epoque era 14 7/8" bénitier or Holy water font with richly burled facade, floral & folate marquetry inlay and Art Nouveau style medallion, a profile of Mary with illuminated accenting, sculptor's signature and cut glass font! Gorgeous and just in from France, this one is impressive in size and visual appeal. The sculptor or artist's signature appears to be "RuPony" or something similar. Very good to excellent condition. There is a bit of raising or separation to the brass edging at the top and bottom centers but no notable damage and no repairs. See pictures for all measurements.
