"Chiffres et Monogrammes" Hermés 90 cm silk scarf in box, the artist's original work designed c. 1986 by Lise Coutin.
From my own collection, initially purchased to wear, I have never worn it and it has been kept in box for 20 years I've owned it. One of the first ones I bought and initially I just thought of it as a beautiful accessory. Took no time at all for me to begin to think of these as art. Gorgeous colors, this in a palette of Hermés orange and pastel colors. I've owned this one about 20 years, and it's just been in archival storage, not on display. I bought this one as 'vintage, used' but it appeared then as now, to have never been worn and only been kept I box. Purchased in Paris. Time to sell off my collection.
Excellent condition for age and type, I purchased this as vintage, but it had no appearance of having been worn, and in my 20 years, has only out of box to consider wearing. I might have taken it back to Paris a time or two, but I never did wear it. No perfume, no marks, no damage, no snags, not a flaw to be found. I'm not sure what happened to the tissue which was original to the box, this one has a tissue but I'm not certain I kept the original one. I did not keep my receipt, guessing at purchase year.
