Beautiful 11" round panel of beadwork, c.1840-70, with a 1/2" folded canvas to work with if you're wanting to simply sew it to the top of your existing silk velvet or silk satin throw pillow - hardly even a need to make the entire pillow. Mock-up images of the panel simply added to existing silk pillows you can buy online are shown as our final images, though I think silk velvet and some fringe would be even more beautiful. Even the most modern homes are adding antique tapestry panel pillows. Full measurements noted on photos.
Very good to excellent condition for age and type, the canvas remains supple and strong and nearly every tiny glass bead remains in its spot - a couple you might wish to replace (buy at a crafts store). This panel would also be so pretty as a surface protector for your tea pot, just laid atop your table as it is. The tucked under 1/2" gives it a finished edge. A beautiful panel!
