Lovely antique French hallmarked vermeil or gold plated sterling silver & porcelain expresso cup & saucer with floral garland pattern and laurel garland bands on the silver! Dainty but delightful! Not sure why I didn't get the fluid ounce capacity of the cup but will do so. All I know is that it's about the perfect size for a rich French or Italian espresso (or two) before heading out to see the sights. The saucer frame and cup base both bear the French Minerve or Minerva hallmarks for .800 or 80% pure silver so they're just under the .925 standard for "sterling" silver. The silversmith marks are likely for Victor Lineup, Paris circa 1885 to early 1900s. Gorgeous!
Very good to excellent condition. No chips or cracks to the porcelain and just some of age wear or fading to the gold plating in places. See images for all measurements.
