Very fine antique Continental .800 silver J.C. Osthues marked saucier or sauce pan, sauce pot with pumpkin shaped body, gold plated or vermeil interior and original turned handle! A smaller piece, the pot itself has a 3 1/8" diameter. The only markings on the piece are for "J.C. Osthues" (of Münster) and the number "13" which stands for .800 silver content (80% pure silver and pretty much the standard for the area). A gorgeous little pot, whether it's as a decorative piece, to add to your fine dining ensemble or, even better, both!
Very good condition. I see no dents, damage or repairs to the silver pot, no cracks or damage to the handle. See pictures for weight and measurements.
