A pair from a fine Edwardian English vanity case, separated from their valise at some point. I've had this pair for decades. Time to let a lot of things like this go. This pair are just beautiful, particularly displayed on mirror so the crystal can burst with light. The caps have a cushion top of ivory mounted to sterling silver (hallmarks shown) Maker G.C&S, London, and date marks for your exploration. I'm sorry, these got photographed ahead of being polished and cleaned fully. They will be cleaned and rephotographed, the listing annotated. Slight residue of perfume can be seen and a little tarnish on the fine sterling silver. The pair sold together.
Very good to excellent condition, no chips, no cracks or hairlines to the flasks, even in the slender necks which are sometimes damaged. No stoppers because these are lid corked, so they seal very tightly without stoppers. The antique ivory cushions up top have a few light aging/shrinkage hairlines, no chips and no breaks. They are typical of antique ivory. Measurements are noted on our photos.
