Elegant antique French hallmarked vermeil on .800 (nearly sterling) silver & genuine tortoise shell topped 3pc dressing or vanity set including two large cologne or perfume bottles, a huge powder jar complete with antique puff and all with thick, heavy wheel cut glass or crystal bodies! The word "gorgeous" comes to mind here, doesn't it? The ostrich down powder puff with turned ivory handle is worth around $300 just by itself and is included. The vermeil on silver tops all bear the French weevil hallmark along with "800", meaning the silver is 80% pure so just under the .925 standard for "sterling" silver. Thick beautifully grained tortoise shell inserts and shimmering wheel cut bodies, as opulent as can be.
Good to very good condition. The vermeil & tortoise tops are all near pristine with just a bit of tarnish visible but we'll have them polished prior to shipping. One of the perfume bottles has an old break where the neck meets the bodies but it's been repaired with industrial strength epoxy so the vermeil lid and stopper are easily removed with no risk of it breaking again (and the break is not visible at all). There is also a small crack in the neck of one bottle. Possibly a small nip here and there to the glass but no larger chips, etc.

We also recognize the vast cultural history we preserve with our care and reverence for these antique objects, and agree with CITES that objects over 100 years of age have nothing whatsoever to do with species depletion in our current world.
Our offering exceeds the age limitation of "more than 100 years of age", and is well within the exemption for CITES regulation. If imported, met the CITES regulation.
