Found in France - A truly exquisite 3-strand pearl necklace, dating Victorian to Edwardian era, the 18k gold clasp set with center 6mm mine cut diamond in a champagne color (not graded, sorry) surrounded by halo of 12 2mm diamonds, for a clasp of 1/2" diameter. The pearls are also exquisitely, perfectly matched and with excellent nacre and shine. The pearls are 4mm, perfectly matched. The wearable length (clasped) is 17 1/2". Would be stunning for a bride's "something old" to wear on a wedding day and keep forever after. The red box is a prop and is not included.
Very good to excellent condition throughout, age and type considered. The important aspects are all intact. The only flaw I see is a clump of stringing thread at end of one of the strands which needs to be tucked into the gold housing. It is visible on some photos. Pearls are gorgeous! Obvious high quality and show no damage nor loss, beautifully matched for color and size as one expects on a high-end antique jewelry item. It does appear there is a 4th hole on the clasp, so likely originally had one more strand. Clasp alone is of high value.
