A hand carved large panel from wall paneling or from a cabinet or hutch, you can see by looking at the outer edging it's had an outer frame or trim. Large at 21" tall and 19 3/4" wide, it would be a magnificent personalizing cabinet front in your kitchen or at home built in as a cabinet door for, say, bathroom cabinet or recessed wine 'cellar'. Carved in the Neo Renaissance manner, flanking pair of mythical griffen incorporated in the motif at base of the fruit filled urn. Don't be confused that we have it in Black Forest category - it's a French or possibly Italian carving, but the carved wood objects all appear in that category. Photos also note the full measurements. Purchased in France.

Very good to excellent condition, you can see the beautiful finish and carving. From the backside we have put x at top and bottom of panel at what we believe is the seam in the splice of 2 boards. You can see the outer perimeter of the panel has been covered by either moulding or a frame. These are often framed as wall hangings, by the way, and this would be superb in that type of display.  You'll have the perfect project in mind. There is no hardware on this panel.
