My favorite little set of dressing table jars with 2 scent bottles, amber and cognac tortoise shell caps in a beautifully polished and rounded manner, set to English sterling silver caps that have a vermeil (14k gold) layer. All in very nice condition, the measurements are noted on the photos.
Very good to excellent set of 4, age and type considered. They have no chips, no breaks, the caps are superb but for a very slight polishing away of the 14k gold layer, more typical in English vermeil than in French from our experience (a thinner layer of gold). Sterling marks are shown. These have been in my own collection for decades. Time to let them go. SO beautiful grouped with your perfume and scent bottles or other vanity items.
