Fabulous antique Edwardian era sterling silver & enamel 7 5/8" x 5 3/4" picture frame pair, unique textured facade with Art Nouveau floral & guilloche style enamel pattern, original wood backs with easel stands! The same pattern used by A & E Zimmerman of Birmingham c.1904 but these are quite a bit larger than the pair I found online and have that stunning addition of the guilloche style blue & green enamels along the vines. Marked solely "Sterling" at the bottom of each so I'm thinking they must be American works and likely copied from the original pattern mentioned above. A truly stunning and rare matched pair here, both in exceptional condition and with immense visual appeal!
Very good to excellent condition. I see no cracks or losses to the enamel accenting and, as you can see, there's only very slight denting in a spot or two along the edge of the sterling facades. The wooden framework and easel stand appear to be original, I'm sure they are. See pictures for all measurements.
