Fine antique French hallmarked .800 (nearly sterling) silver 2" napkin ring, 80% pure or finer solid silver with machined or engravd decoration and "Emilie" dedication or inscription! Stamped with the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, the curved outer shape and tiny number "2" within the mark for .800 silver content (at least 80% pure silver). The silversmith mark is mostly illegible and we've not been able to find reference for it.
Yes, a single here and one of several superb antique and vintage sterling silver napkin rings that we're adding today (and in the weeks ahead) so be sure to browse our current offerings to build a collection fit for royalty :). These are great mixed & matched around your table, wonderful to find a set of twelve or more matching pieces but who could be so lucky. And, isn't it much neater if all are unique, each with a history...a story of its own!
Very good condition. Weighs 26 grams, great condition as you can see from the images. Light surface scuffing, a bit of visible tarnish, but it's in wonderful shape. See pictures for measurements.
